The Rouge Nightclub

‘The Rouge’ nightclub (formerly known as the Moulin Rouge Sydney) has been a consistant performer in delivering awesomeness to the heart of Sydney’s Kings Cross.  The well designed music policy keeps them unique and always ahead of the game, and has given birth to some of Australia’s biggest dance act’s including the Potbelleez and The Bang Gang. Some of these date to waaaaay back.  I’ve done so many now I can’t post them all but theses are a few of my favorites.

Rouge Rockr was a great success at this club, focusing on the trend in Rock remix style dance music, people would get completely punked up in awesome clothes to go to this.  After a booming opening with DJ Sharam Jey the night ran massive line’s and was hugely successful for all of it’s 2.5 years or so
